Gwyneth Paltrow Ski Collision Trial: Terry Sanderson Apologizes For Calling Actress King Kong

WRITTEN BY SUMI DEKA

Gwyneth Paltrow’s ski accident trial is a hot topic right now. The man who sued her has now apologized to Paltrow for calling her King Kong.

Terry Sanderson appeared at the court on Wednesday and spoke about his injuries and how he was mentally affected. But he clarified that he did not think that Paltrow sounded like the Gorilla “King Kong” but like the lead of the film, Ann Darrow.

Paltrow’s lawyer Steve Owens asked Terry if he compared her to King Kong coming out of the jungle while he was speaking at a press conference in 2019.

Sanderson said that he used the word and apologized to Paltrow, saying that he intended to make it sound like the lady getting chased by King Kong.

Terry referred to the noise reportedly made by Gwyneth before the accident, saying that the silence was broken by a hysterical scream and it was the best one anyone has ever heard.

Gwyneth Paltrow claimed last week that Terry was the one who hit her at the Deer Valley ski resort in Utah. Terry broke three of his ribs and suffered a traumatic brain injury.

While Paltrow was sued by Sanderson in 2019, the former countersued him. Sanderson was seeking damages of around $3 million while Paltrow asked for compensation of $1 million.

Terry was questioned about his trips to Morocco, Netherlands, and Peru during the trial on Wednesday. He said that it was a part of the healing process and that he avoided traveling alone after the accident.
